HELP!

We are having family pictures taken in a week and a half and I have no idea where to have them done. We have a photographer, I just need a good outdoor place to have them done. Any ideas on good places outside or places you've had your pictures taken?

the aquatic center

Drew and Matthew have been playing a lot at the Aquatic Center by us. I've put together a slide show since there are so many pictures of them! Also, the quality of the pictures isn't the best since I took them with a waterproof camera. But I hope you enjoy them anyway!

Play time

I am so glad that the weather has finally turned warm! That means plently of our time is spent either at the pool or the Aquatic Center playing in the water and becoming really tan! Drew has been having such a great time in the water that I'm calling him my little fish!

Drew has this thing of playing in the water for about 10 minutes and then he needs his towel. He'll sit and dry off for a couple of minutes and then he's back in the water! He's so silly!

And this is his cousin Matthew by the pool too! Can't play at the pool without him!

Drew and Matthew have been playing not just at the pool, but outside as well. Like I said in the previous post, Drew likes to pick on Matthew, but there are times when they will just be good and play together! Here they are outside playing with their cars in the mud!

These two pictures are of Drew asleep, but that's not why we took them. We have been putting Drew to bed in his own bed at night and he's been doing so well. Just lays there and tells us he "Woves" us and goodnight. But when Doug and I are going to bed, here is Drew on Doug's pillow. He's been quietly getting out of his bed, closing his door, and crawling onto Doug's pillow and falling asleep! He doesn't do anything else but cover himself up and go to sleep! We can't help but laugh and of course take a picture or two!

And last, but not least, here is Drew showing off his new dance moves! I think he's trying to break dance!

ENOUGH of the weather

Wow! The weather out here has been totally freaky. In fact, last night was the first night we have ever had to go to the coat closet. It's been raining here for the past 5 days and with that brings extremely strong winds (70 mph), which causes tornadoes. Even though we had to venture into our coat closet, a tornado didn't come. It hit further north of us. I tell you, I've never been so freaked out in my life. It was just Drew and I at home, Doug was working. But I'm glad that's over...for now! The big problem we're facing here is flooding. Our rivers are past their max and streets are already closed due to the excess rain. I wish I had some pictures to show you.

On a lighter note, Drew has been able to play with his cousin Matthew! Even though I know they enjoy each other's company, I can't help but wonder what Matthew's mom thinks of my little bully. Drew likes to wrestle (thanks to his friend Owen) and Matthew doesn't! So I feel I'm constantly telling Drew to stop picking on Matthew. Sorry Ann Marie, I don't know how to stop my child! But here is a cute picture of the two boys playing in the tub!
