The time has come

I can't believe the day is here. After a busy/frustrating day of loading the moving truck, (which Doug and I had to do all by ourselves since nobody from our ward showed up to help), We are leaving Iowa...forever. Ok, we might come back and visit! We are headed to Utah to pick up Drew and then heading on to begin our adventure in Nevada! It's a little scary, but we are ready. I sat down and thought of all the things I will miss of the place we have called home for the past 3 years, and I came up with quite a bit. I will miss the Farmer's Markets. I LOVE the Farmer's Markets. They are so big and exciting! It makes me want to have a garden so bad. I will also miss the people here. Iowa has some of the nicest people you will ever meet. They accept you instantly.

I do have to say that I will miss these two girls and their little boys like crazy. Good thing they are from the west and maybe they'll come and visit someday.

All three of these boys are within 2 weeks of each other. They are so adorable. I'm sad that we didn't have them a year ago so they could have a chance to play. I love you girls!

So, farewell Iowa. Our time here will always be remembered.

We will miss you guys!!! Hope you have a safe trip back to Utah. I am so glad we will get to see you in July...that makes it a little easier.

We will for sure have to get the boys together when I come to Utah.

Love you guys and miss you already!!

You will be missed! I feel so bad you had to load the truck all by yourself! Sad. We do love you and your family.

I still can't believe no one showed up to help you...gotta love your "awesome" ward!

Hope your trip goes well. Sorry about last night we got cut off when we got to the canyon. I'll give you a call later on this week to see how the drive went.

love ya!

sorry i missed saying farewell to you guys but i didn't know you were leaving. hope you have a safe trip and good luck in nevada.

p.s. wish we would have known you needed help, would have totally been there and i'm sure a lot of people would have come help - because i think your ward IS "awesome".

No offense to your ward..I didn't even think about how others would take that...of course your ward has great people in it...people I love and miss...but you know what I mean Court. Sorry if the comment offended anyone, I didn't think before I commented on how someone who doesn't know what me and Court have talked about would take that. :)

I am sad you guys are gone! David would have really enjoyed playing with cute little Drew now that is finally warm outside!

Dave and I have been feeling so terrible ever since we found out you guys loaded your things all alone. I can't believe it! I was gone and Dave had the kids all by himself. He is normally there for moves. I am so sorry that happened! I hope you guys are having a safe trip.

I hope you had a safe trip back to the West. We will miss you guys! Good Luck with everything.

Sorry we weren't there to help. I kept looking outside to see if you were moving but didn't see your POD even open. What time did you load it? I feel really bad.

WOW COURTNEY! Where was the email saying you guys were moving and what time you needed to pack up and load! I have talked to a few people about this situation and no one even knew what days you guys were going! You should have called around, I know there would have been numerous people at your guys's door if you would have called more people! You have to remember right now is a busy time for everyone! Many people are gone for the summer, some are gone studying for boards all day long and some just didn't get the memo!! I do feel bad, but if we would have known we would have been there! Glad you made it there safely!

Cassie,
Doug actually asked in church two weeks in a row. And I know we can't count on everyone, but when someone says they'll be there, you should be able to count on them. I didn't mean to offend anyone by this. It was mainly for my journaling purposes.

Sorry no one showed if we wouldn't have been out of town we would have been there because I knew you were moving.

I am glad we got to go to lunch to say good bye, miss you tons. I will try to email you to see how you are doing.

Oh my gosh I'm sorry I didn't show up Court. In my defense I was driving down by the river when an evil gnome jumped out and threatened to kill me if I didn't give him a peanut butter and marshmallow cream sandwich. I was in such a rush to get the sandwich when a rabid kangaroo hopped into the store and threatened to shoot everyone if they didn't get on the ground... so there I was making a sandwich on the floor in the grocery store. Once the sandwich was made I went back to the river to give the sandwich to the gnome and when I did, he turned into a genie and poofed me off to Florida. I totally would've helped you guys if I hadn't been partying it up with Beyonce in Miami.
