Do any of you readers out there have some good ideas on how to teach your child not to be so possessive over their toys when other kids come over? Drew can be doing something on one side of the room, but as soon as he sees someone grab for a toy, one that he isn't even near or even cared about playing with, he has to run over and take it away. I don't know what to do. This poor kid is going to have his eyes opened when he realizes that he isn't the only child in the house anymore.
Suggestions please!

no advice. My kids do the same thing, so you are not alone.
my kids do the same thing...well ella doesn't anymore...so i'm guessing it's an age thing. It actually got worse once mailee was born...:)
I'm mean and made brooklyn go sit on my bed while the other kids played with her toys. That didn't go over too well with her, but she did learn that it was more fun to share. good luck!
No helpful advice in that arena but I think the whole sitting on the bed thing is a good idea.
Just so you know, yours is not the only child that does that.
Matthew says Hi to Drew. He misses him.
